Active with AACSB International accreditation. Renewed efforts for AACSB International re-accreditation - interpreting the new standards for the faculty and leading changes required, e.g., program assessment, research efforts, and syllabi development.
Developed linkages with the other 13 sister business schools/departments in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Deans met at least twice per year to discuss issues and to try to establish common communications to the Chancellor’s office.
Reorganized and revitalized Business Advisory Council and added new members from outside the region, including New York City and Washington, DC, in the areas of finance, technology, higher education, news media, international consulting, and other industries. Organized and conducted semi-annual meetings. Utilized members to further the college and university. Examples included: development efforts, curricular advice, Faculty Research Summer Tours, student internships, and marketing the college to others.
Actively solicited business involvement in university and College of Business Administration (COBA) activities. Visited companies to further COBA initiatives, e.g., national companies including Lockheed Martin, Fannie Mae, American Bankers Association, Fastened and local companies, including Brookville Mining Equipment, Miller Welding, and Structural Modular Homes.
Introduced alumni efforts in the COBA. Brought in high-level speakers from multinational companies.
Managed five traditional business departments (35 FTE faculty), two campuses. Paralegal program (ABA approved) was offered on the distant campus.

Analyzed and wrote summary of findings on current banking topics. Issues included capital adequacy of banks, recapitalization of the FSLIC, risks of off-balance-sheet activities, restructuring the deposit insurance system, feasibility of a wholesale funds transfer system, and regulatory differences between bank failures versus savings and loan failures.
